|
Iran is a nation in the middle east that was once under the name of Persia. However, over the many long year of existence, Iran has been taken over, over run, and attacked by numerous other countries and cultures including Arabs and Mongols. Often times Iran has been caught in a struggle between two world superpowers but has managed to keep itself together through pure force and excellent leadership and has been able to preserve its own identity. The tart of modern Iran history begins with the uprising of the Shah, and the creation of a distinct, but limited constitution in 1906. Reza Khan made himself Shah in 1925 and ruled for about 16 years. Under hi reign, Iran began to pick up pace in politics and make a stand for itself. Since then there has been numerous reforms such as Shah's Rebellion which reformed the nation politically and socially.
